2021 Festival Information

We have been monitoring the ever changing CDC guidelines and the uncertainty of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic over the past several months.  And while there has been an ease of restrictions over the last week and reports indicate that 1 out of 3 Georgians have received at least one vaccine, they are still not where they need to be to safely host an event of this magnitude attended by 7,500-10,000 people.  For these reasons, we are letting it ride into 2022 and postponing the 25th Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival that was tentatively scheduled for September 11, 2021. It was a difficult decision, but we felt it was necessary to ensure the health and safety of our Dragon Boat Festival participants, spectators, vendors and volunteers. We want to bring the festival back at a time when all are able to enjoy the full festival experience as it was intended. We will be back next year and are looking forward to a COVID-19 free event in 2022!

We are looking forward to seeing you all on September 10, 2022!
